Presentation at ETI 10 Years of Innovation Event

On 26th November 2017 Dr Jeanette Whitaker was invited to give a presentation on Bioenergy and Land Use Change at the Energy Technologies Institute "10 Years of Innovation" Event.  The presentation highlighted the results from the ELUM: Ecosystem Land Use Modelling project and the impact of the work in policy and research terms.  The presentation is available


New Perspectives paper on Bioenergy and Land use: the remaining challenges

This publication draws together the current state-of knowledge on the greenhouse gas savings which can be achieved through the cultivation of perennial bioenergy crops.  The paper is the output from the ELUM workshop in 2015 and frames the consensus of opinion, remaining uncertaintes and challenges for perennial bioenergy crops with respect to land use and management.
